An overview of SCVP Nairobi

Through the Covid-19 pandemic the adult classes ran successfully on-line and all classes have continued in the same manner since. Our classes are now so popular, not just locally but globally, that it is difficult to even envisage shutting down the virtual platform comprising so many thought-provoking sessions:

Monday: Glimpses of Uttaradhyayan Sutra, understanding this beautiful text and how it can help us practice Jainism
Tuesday: Analysis of ‘Walk With Me’, a publication by Acharya Shri Chandanaji and Vastupal Parikh
Wednesday: Ahimsa Darshan by Upadhyaya Shri Amar Muniji, discussing Ahimsa from a practical and wider perspective
Thursday: a recap of Uttaradhyayan Sutra by adult students who thirst to delve deeper and deeper into this text
Thursday: Adhyatmasar is taught in Gujarati
Friday: a new look at Tattvartha Sutra

We have now successfully resumed in person classes for the children on Saturday mornings and it is always a joy to see the little ones so glad to be back in the classroom learning our Tirthankars’ beautiful words amongst their peers and equally enthusiastically looking forward to the Prabhavna so generously donated by our well-wishers.
