With the grace and blessings of Pujya Tai Ma and Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji, we at Shri Chandana Vidyapeeth (SCVP) London had a grand Diwali event that was unique in celebrating Mahavir Bhagwan’s 2550th anniversary of attaining Nirvana with a wonderful balance of joy and spirituality!
The evening commenced with Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji giving a hugely uplifting and inspiring virtual message that set the tone for a memorable and unforgettable event!
The sell-out audience benefitted from a magical blend – our unique SCVP Chopda Poojan of opening a new spiritual chapter in our lives lovingly mixed with a beautiful performance by the children of SCVP aptly conveying the message of Mahavir Bhagwan, stirred with a dash of vibrancy and colourful energy with the Raas Garba and to top it all off garnished with a delicious and scrumptious Jain vegan meal.
The evening started off with an opportunity for everyone to network and socialise whilst enjoying a mouth-watering meal served with lots of love by the youth. The teachers, led by Dr Vinodbhai Kapashi, then conducted yet another deeply meaningful, engaging and peaceful Chopda Poojan with all families not only understanding the significance behind the rituals but also participating actively in revering Mahavir Bhagwan, Guru Gautam Swami, Saraswati Devi and Mahalakshmi Devi.
Once again, the real stars were the children of SCVP who were absolutely wonderful with their positivity, enthusiasm, confidence and refreshing innocence in distilling the spiritual messages of Bhagwan Mahavir from the Uttaradhyayan sutra in an unforgettable manner in the form of a skit.
The soul rendering singing by the singers and their band of musicians had the audience in raptures with the energetic and joyful singing during the Raas Garba keeping both young and old on the dance floor till the end.
The event was executed really well by the Diwali sub team displaying the ethos of Veerayatan in working with each other seamlessly and truly embracing teamwork and collaboration.
